I always have my own cut flowers and also buy directly from the auction in Holland. This means I can get almost everything at any time of year – after all, it’s always summer somewhere!

About Flowers of the Field

The nursery was started in Weobley in 1989 and is situated one mile outside the picturesque village of Weobley amongst stunning scenery in the heart of rural Herefordshire.

We are a small working nursery and florists. We specialise in Floristry and cut flower production for the wholesale/retail trade.

We grow a number of different flowers throughout the year such as Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, Freesias, Chrysants, Ranunculus and many more varieties in the summer months.

We have provided the flowers and arrangements for the Hollywood film “Unconditional Love” set in Weobley & Ludlow. It starred Julie Andrews, Lyn Redgrave, Kathy Bates, Rupert Everett & many other famous stars of stage & screen. We have also done work for ITV.

We have  been lucky and very proud to send our cut flowers & plants to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother at Balmoral.

We have supplied Sainsbury’s in Hereford with plants and flowers and did their Hanging Baskets for several years.
